Martin G. Crosby

Chairman & Chief Science Officer

 

Mr. Martin G. Crosby has been our Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Science Officer since September 2004 and is the founder of the Company. Prior to founding the Company's predecessor, Uro-Med Pharmaceuticals, LLC in March 1996, from June 1994 to March 1996, Mr. Crosby was the President of Pharmaceutical Marketing Alliance ("PMA"), a nationwide pharmaceutical healthcare provider (also founded by Mr. Crosby), which specialized in disease management of Multiple Sclerosis patients, and which through acquisitions is currently Amerisourcebergen Corp., a leading pharmaceutical distributor in the U.S., whose shares are publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange. When he was at PMA, Mr. Crosby was a frequent speaker on issues relating to multiple sclerosis ("MS") and authored a publication of his research on MS patients. Prior to that, Mr. Crosby was a co-founder of I.V. Therapy Associates ("IV Therapy"), a company that was a pharmaceutical provider of injectable biotech drugs, disease management services and home infusion therapies, throughout the U.S., where he served as Senior Vice President and Director of Business Development from July 1987 to March 1993. In April 1991, IV Therapy was acquired by Roberts Pharmaceutical Corporation (a company whose shares were publicly traded in the Nasdaq Market) and which was subsequently merged in December 1999 with Shire Pharmaceuticals, plc, a company whose shares are publicly traded on the London Stock Exchange and in the Nasdaq Market. From February 1985 to April 1987, Mr. Crosby served as the Director of Pharmacy Services for Charleston Home Therapeutics, Inc., a company that was a provider of home infusion therapies, through South Carolina, and which became Coram Healthcare in July 1994. Mr. Crosby's initial employment in the pharmaceutical industry was at Roper Hospital, a 500 bed hospital in Charleston, South Carolina, where he served as a clinical pharmacist from May 1980 to January 1985. Mr. Crosby is also the inventor of Biogesic HP, a serotoninergic neuropharmaceutical combination used to control severe intractable chronic pain in terminal cancer patients that have developed tolerance to narcotics, for the management of moderate to severe chronic pain. Mr. Crosby was issued U.S. and Canadian patents for this product. Mr. Crosby received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1980.



Younis Zubchevich

Member of the Board of Directors; Executive Vice President

Younis Zubchevich has been a director of the Company since March 2006. He has also served as the President and Chairman of Gryphon Financial Securities Corp., a NASD member and SEC registered broker-dealer and has also served in those same positions with York Avenue Holding Corp., Gryphon's parent, since May 2000. From June 1986 to June 1989, Mr. Zubchevich was a Vice President of Bahrain International Bank and also held the same position at Kuwait Asia Bank from June 1989 to October 1990. He managed the marketing and investment banking departments of both of those banks. Prior to that and from July 1978, Mr. Zubchevich was employed by Manufacturers Hanover Trust where he served as Vice President in the international banking department from February 1983 to May 1986. Mr. Zubchevich has been involved in various capacities in the securities industry, and has been a registered representative since 1992 and a registered principal since August 1998. He has focused his efforts principally on developing corporate finance transactions in the form of private placements and public offerings for emerging growth companies.



Alan W. Fink

President

Mr. Alan W. Fink has been our President since August 2005. Mr. Fink has over 30 years of senior executive experience in the development of new consumer beauty and healthcare products. From January 1995 to July 2005, Mr. Fink was the principal and sole owner of Marketing Momentum, a consulting company that developed marketing, sales and public relations programs for businesses in the healthcare, beauty products, wrist watch and fitness products industries, some of which were Fortune 500 companies. Prior to that and from 1981, Mr. Fink was a Vice President of Marketing/Sales at Clairol, now a division of Procter & Gamble, where, during his tenure he assisted in the entry of Clairol's business into ten new beauty product categories. From 1975 to 1980, Mr. Fink was Director of Marketing/Sales at Schick Shavers, now a division of Energizer Holdings, Inc., where he was involved in the launch of Schick's electric shaver business. From 1970 to 1974, Mr. Fink was a Product Brand Manager at Chesebrough-Ponds, now a division of Unilever, Inc., where he helped develop new product lines for Vaseline petroleum jelly and also assisted in the creation of a new hair care product for men.



Linda F. Sunderman

Controller

 

Ms. Linda F. Sunderman has been our Controller and Operations Manager since December 2004. Prior to joining the Company, from July 1998 to December 2003, Ms. Sunderman was the CFO and Controller of Best Express Foods, Inc., a specialty food distributor, where she established and maintained the company's accounting and financial reporting system, as well as managed several areas of operations, including inventory management, distribution and purchasing. From 1995 to 2000, Ms. Sunderman operated, as a sole proprietor certified public accountant ("CPA"), pursuant to which she provided business and accounting consulting services to small businesses. She has been a licensed CPA since 1987.



Jessica Shelton

Customer Support Manager

 

Jessica Shelton joined Zestra Laboratories, Inc. in April 2005. She holds a degree in Business Management from Southern Ohio College and has over 8 years of customer service and management experience. Jessica organizes, coordinates and manages all aspects of the targeted medical conferences and trade show conventions at which we exhibit. She has excellent sales and communication skills and is the initial point of contact for educating attendees (medical or otherwise) on the unique benefits of Zestra. Jessica designs and executes customer support programs and contributes to the sales and marketing components of our healthcare professional awareness programs. Her relationship management skills play an important role in growing and solidifying the support of women's sexual health professionals for Zestra.
