Female sexual dysfunction is experiencing fast developments in all areas including diagnosis, measurement, epidemiology, and treatment. However, only a minority of women suffering
from sexual dysfunction receive diagnosis and treatment. The area of pharmacotherapy is undergoing revolutionary progress with the development of new therapies. There is a great need
to bring high quality education and information to health care professionals caring for women with sexual dysfunction.
The target audience is primary care physicians, pharmacists, urologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, gynecologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, sex therapists and other health care
professionals interested in female sexual dysfunction. This seminar will present up to date information on female sexual dysfunction. The information will cover all related fields of
anatomy, physiology, epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, measurement and treatment. The participants are expected to acquire knowledge and skills for the evaluation and
treatment of women with sexual dysfunction.
