WHAT: A Health and Wellness Conference for women of the Lowcountry designed to educate, motivate and inform women of health prevention opportunities and
lifestyle improvement strategies!
WHY: Women make the majority of the healthcare decisions for their families, yet all too often put their own health and well-being on the back-burner.
Why? Because they wear so many hats...wife, mother, employee, boss, daughter -- who has time for their health?
By offering health screenings, specifically targeted seminars and educational opportunities, physicians for Q&A and more than 40 exhibitors -- we are empowering women to assess and maintain
their physical and mental health and well-being -- all at one venue!
WHO: Women of the Lowcountry are encouraged to wear the hat that best describes their personality and attend this exciting two-day health and wellness
conference! For a fee of $50 per person, they will receive the following:
- Eight health screenings including cholesterol, blood pressure and diabetes.
- Two general session seminars on motivation and entrepreneurship and women's health risk factors and screening options.
- The opportunity to attend three of nine break-out educational seminars on Saturday.
- A kick-off dinner and session with a nationally recognized speaker on Friday.
- Breakfast (with the exhibitors) and lunch on Saturday.
- Beverages and snacks throughout the weekend.
- Opportunities to attend more than 20 "Ask-a-Doc" booths.
- The opportunity to meet more than 40 Women's Health and Wellness exhibitors and local businessess.
