DESCRIPTION:
The 11th Annual Oklahoma Nurse Practitioner Conference is planned for nurse practitioners in various specialties and practices. Attendees will have opportunities to meet course objectives,
network, interact with potential employers and learn about products and services. This year's conference will provide continuing education and pharmacology hours for advanced practice
nurses including Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Nurse Specialists.
PURPOSE/GOAL:
This conference will provide an opportunity for nurse practitioners to:
- Increase knowledge of diseases and conditions and discuss the appropriate interventions and treatments.
- Explain the pharmacotherapeutic mechanism of drugs used for each disease or condition discussed, including side effects and drug interactions.
- Update clinical knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality health care.
- Network with colleagues and access current information about advanced practice issues in the state.
